Corporate offices cannot just be spaces to hold desks they should ideally reflect the culture of the company. Barnes & Noble is in the business, of course, of cultivating inspiration, creativity and enlightenment.

The greatest motivation for this project was the opportunity to work with a true legend, B&N founder Leonard Riggio - he was such a big personality, and the sort of person who ultimately has you hanging on his every word. We were thrilled for the opportunity to translate his vision into reality.

Again, because B&N is a company built around creativity, the office art collection was to be front and center - to provide daily inspiration to all those who encountered it. We had all of the furniture custom designed, but it was meant to serve its functional purpose, to keep the focus on the incredibly eclectic array of artworks. We successfully created an immersive, gallery-like experience - a captivating alternative to the usual workaday office spaces.
